Talk at ZOOOF (ZOO Of the Future) symposium at Sexyland about how tiny shells, found in seafloor sediments, reveal that chaos (in the form of mass exinctions) created order in the geological timescale, and how the so-called 'Antropocene' might also be seen as a border between geological epochs rather than a new period, depending on looking at time from a anthropocentric or geological perspective.
